At VSParticle we are passionate about innovation in nanotechnology for meaningful purposes. We developed a breakthrough technology that enables the generation and deposition of nanoparticles at the push of a button. This allows university researchers and R&D teams across the world to create new materials 10 times faster than with conventional systems and allows industry to produce new products based on these materials! These new material combinations form the basis of revolutionary solutions for highly relevant applications, such as green hydrogen production and sensors for air quality measurements.
The Product Manager for will be responsible for building and validating the business case for new products and upgrades of existing products by working closely with existing and launching customers. The role focuses on aligning product development with market demand, ensuring product-market fit, and driving early-stage customer adoption. This position requires a strategic mindset, a deep understanding of customer needs, and the ability to translate those insights into successful product offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement & Validation:
- Identify launching customers to gather feedback, validate assumptions, and iterate on product design.
- Act as the key liaison between customers and internal teams, ensuring products meet customer expectations and provide clear value.
- Build strong customer relationships to ensure early-stage product adoption and refinement.
Business Case Development:
- Create and validate business cases for new products and existing product upgrades, ensuring alignment with market needs and company strategy.
- Work and challenge customers to define use cases, key product features, and value propositions.
- Assess product feasibility, profitability, and market potential through data-driven analysis and customer feedback.
Go-to-Market Strategy:
- Lead the go-to-market plan for pilot products, working closely with sales and marketing to position products effectively.
- Track product performance post-launch and iterate based on real-world usage and customer feedback.
- Ensure product alignment with regulatory standards and industry trends.
Cross-Functional Leadership:
- Collaborate with engineering, R&D, marketing, and sales teams to ensure smooth product development and launch.
- Drive the product roadmap based on market feedback and business objectives.
Job requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
5+ years in product management and launching of new products or features.
Experience in validating product-market fit.
Strong business acumen with the ability to develop and test business cases.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, customer engagement, and analytical skills.
Experience with high-tech equipment, industrial products, or related industries.
Hands-on mindset is required as VSP is a scale-up.
