Project Manager – Product Development

VSPARTICLE (VSP) is a fast-growing nanotechnology company, that is on a mission to change the world of material development. For the development of clean energy millions of new materials need to be investigated. VSP develops new technology to unlock and accelerate the discovery of novel materials with advanced properties, that can contribute to solve the world’s biggest challenges.

We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager – Product Development to work in close collaboration with Berend van der Grinten (Director of Product Development) to lead product development projects for our particle generation systems and nanoporous printers. You’ll work in tandem with the technical leads from different teams to keep the projects on track to meet our ambitious goals. The teams consists of various engineers, technicians, and scientists so the ability to maintain both a high level perspective and in-depth focus on core issues are important.

What you’ll do:

• Co-lead multiple mid to long term development projects from feasibility to industrialization, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery with focused engineering teams.

• Define project scope and goals with stakeholders, and support the growth of structured processes as the organization scales.

• Responsible for the realization of QLTC objectives for Product Development projects (Quality, Logistics, Time, Costs)

• Make project proposals to achieve Product Roadmap goals or customization offers

• Support in EU subsidy applications to help fund the development

• Report directly to Director of Product Development

What you bring:

• Solid experience managing projects through varied phases, direct experience with high tech product development is a plus.

• Strong organizational and excellent communication skills - you have the ability to break down complex problems into simple steps and key issues.

• A technical professional or educational background (e.g., mechanical, electrical, physics, or working as a PM in similar high-tech environments).

• Experience in scale-ups is a plus
